Board of Directors and Management

Mr Ian McCubbing was first appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman on 25 October 2016. Mr McCubbing resigned 16 May 2022, and was reappointed on 9 December 2022. Mr McCubbing is a Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years’ corporate experience, including five years investment banking, principally in the areas of corporate finance and M&A. Mr McCubbing has spent more than 15 years’ working with ASX 200 and other listed companies in senior finance roles, including positions as Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer in mining and industrial companies.

Mr McCubbing was previously the Chief Financial Officer of GRD Limited and Chairman of Eureka Energy Limited and a Director and formerly served as a Non-Executive Director of Mirabela Nickel Ltd, Currently Mr McCubbing is also non-executive Chairman of Rimfire Pacific Mining Limited.

He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from UWA and Executive MBA from the AGSM, is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors

Mr Bevan Tarratt is well experienced in executive and non-executive board roles with over 20 years of experience. He is currently the Executive Chair of Hartshead Resources NL (ASX.HHR) and Non-Executive Director of Viking Mines Pty Ltd (ASX.VKA)

Bevan has an extensive background in the corporate and financial services industries having worked in various accounting and corporate broking firms for the past 15 years.

Bevan has significant experience in the recapitalisation, restructuring and acquisition of assets for numerous ASX companies and was a Client Advisor at Patersons Securities and Partner of a venture capital firm.

Mr Hayden has more than 27 years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. He was the CEO/Managing Director at ASX listed, Tap Oil for 6 years and worked at Woodside Petroleum Limited for 12 years, where he held several positions, including Treasurer, Acting CFO, Vice President of the USA Business Unit based in Louisiana, and Vice President of the Pluto Business Unit. Mr Hayden spent two and a half years living in Louisiana whilst working for Woodside (USA), where he worked on Woodside’s Gulf of Mexico operating assets and exploration portfolio. Troy has worked on numerous oil and gas asset acquisitions, divestments and M&A transactions.Troy is currently a non-executive director of ASX listed Global Oil and Gas Limited and is the part time Business Development Manager at Transborder Energy, a small-scale Floating LNG company

Mike Fischer was appointed to the Board on January 1st 2026 as a non-executive Director.

Dr Fischer has over 40 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and has previously held senior management roles, including positions as CEO and COO, at Bangchak Corporation, Nido Petroleum, Ophir Energy, OMV, Woodside Energy and BP. He is currently the Non-Executive Vice Chairman of Oslo-listed OKEA ASA, and holds Non-Executive Director roles at Matahio Resources and Transitus Energy

Dr Fischer holds a PhD from the University of Wales and a BSc from the University of Leeds and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ms Jennifer Voon is a Chartered Accountant with over a decade of experience in the financial services industry. Her expertise spans capital markets, regulatory compliance and market operations, where she has played a key role in ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Ms Voon also contributes to the not-for-profit sector, focusing on corporate governance. Her dual focus on both profit-driven and socially responsible sectors underscores her commitment to applying her skills for broad societal impact.

Mr Vos is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), the Governance Institute of Australia (GIA), and the Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) with more than 20 years’ experience working within public practice, specifically within the area of corporate services and audit and assurance both in Australia and South Africa. He holds similar secretarial roles in various other listed public companies in both industrial and resource sectors.

He is a Director at Nexia Perth, a mid-tier corporate advisory and accounting practice.

Dr Davies has more than 30 years experience in Oil and Gas exploration including 5 years experience in Natural Hydrogen exploration together with having achieved Australia’s first PhD specializing in Natural Hydrogen. She also holds a Masters Degree in Environmental Science and Bachelor of Geology (with First Class Honours). Dr Davies was the Founder of Gehyra Energy, one of Australia’s first Natural Hydrogen Exploration companies, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
